Hi Everyone Wave tone2

so yes I’ve probably known for ages I’m autistic and after the staff conference where literally all the noise, smells, chaos, ridiculously bright lights, abstract tasks and small talk almost wiped me out I decided to go for a diagnosis. I’m in the UK and probs need to wait another 12 months Shrug tone2‍female sign️


it’s been liberating in some ways and I can now stop trying to find answers as to why I have chronic anxiety…seems I can now start looking after myself. Lots of fab advice on here and it’s nice to read relatable topics.

never written on a forum before but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I never do anything like this, generally keep myself to myself but I’m hoping I can read and share some of my experiences as I do like to info dump and help when I find a topic I know about. Thanks for reading and hoping to share info and experiences with everyone.

    I don’t do social media or forums so this was my first attempt on here and I haven’t regretted it. It’s the best way to learn about autism directly from the community.

    I hope you do start to look after yourself more moving forward.

    Hello, yes love flowers and gardening since as long as I can remember. Used to have my own patch when I was a kid. 

    good to know it’s not just me. I struggle with social media, like “friends” that are actually acquaintances or someone’s brothers cats mum. So yes all new for me really.
