Hi I just want to introduce myself as a recently diagnosed ASD late 50's man.

Just trying to get my head around the diagnosis, but it has enabled me to make sense of my life so far. 

I am hoping to make some friends on here

  • I was diagnosed at 59. I found discovering the reason why I am like I am immensely liberating. It allowed me to forgive myself for past occasions where I did not live up to the high standards I tend to set for myself. I was an undiagnosed autistic person, I had difficulties that most other people cannot even imagine, so not being superman is entirely forgivable.
