Hello (especially to the newbies);

Hi all, 

Joined this forum after a few tricky experiences with postal pen friends. 

Was looking for someone around my age (40-48), female, with similar interests like reading, photography, art, crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and puzzle books. Prefer digital letters (email, social media, or forum).

Past experiences:

- 1998-2007: Pen friend didn't understand boundaries, moved on.

- 2018-2022: Pen friend wanted more, sent daily DMs, money, and parcels (£20/year!). Ended things when I felt uncomfortable.

- 2021-2022: Pen friend with carer struggled with letter writing (1 photo, 1 Christmas card, 4 letters). Might've been due to family financial issues.

Postage prices don't help - 87p second class, £1.65 first class!  Telling my friends and family I should've stuck to digital from the start.

Now focusing on digital connections.
