Hi Jake, welcome to your community, I’m in the throes of moving to Cornwall.  There definitely is no statute of limitations on processing autism and adhd.

I can totally understand why it would take so long to come around to accepting your Autism, especially how it seems like only a more recent thing to take it as a condition to be proud of. I imagine resources in 2009 were more scarce for Autists than they are today. For me acceptance came pretty quick, but I was diagnosed only like four years ago or so, so I feel like support looks different now than it did then.

That’s awesome that you’re involved with a social group! It sounds like that is a pretty rare thing from what I’ve read around this forum. Usually people struggle to find groups like that in their area.
