Why is it somehow my fault that i just got punched in the back of the head by a complete stranger in the dark, wearing dark clothes who was lurking in a bush?

When something bad happens to you and you somehow get blamed for causing the other persons wrong doing - sound familiar?

  • You should be able to walk where you like, when you like, unfortunately we have to be careful of where we go and take far to many precautions or get blamed for somehow "asking for it".

Having been involved in many Reclaim the Night marches and similar stuff I've seen all to often how the police use crimes against women to try and restrict what we do and where we go.

Everybody male and female should be able and supported to go about thier lawful business any time of the day or night and by lawful I mean anything that isn't a criminal undertaking.
