To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

You should be able to walk where you like, when you like, unfortunately we have to be careful of where we go and take far to many precautions or get blamed for somehow "asking for it".
Having been involved in many Reclaim the Night marches and similar stuff I've seen all to often how the police use crimes against women to try and restrict what we do and where we go.
Everybody male and female should be able and supported to go about thier lawful business any time of the day or night and by lawful I mean anything that isn't a criminal undertaking.
