Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!
I’m Squeak, and I’m still learning everything there is to know about autism. I was diagnosed this October just gone.

I’m naturally quite shy, especially around new people, but once I warm up I’m friendly, chatty in my own quirky way, and a bit eccentric (in a fun way). I’ve always felt a little different from everyone else, and while that’s something I’ve struggled with I’m trying harder to embrace it more and see it as a strength rather than something to hide.

I love music, reading, and playing games — they’re my comfort zones and the things that help me unwind. I’ve also recently gotten into drawing and painting. I’m honestly terrible at it so it's something I half enjoy but half hate.

I’m here to meet people who understand and learn more about autism.

  • Good morning from America, Squeak!

I get that feeling of being just a little different but not being able to put your finger on why until recently. I was diagnosed about four-ish years ago for ASD, but I did have ADD (ADHD) diagnosed as a kid. We were able to blame a lot of my quirkiness on ADHD.

I also play games to unwind. It’s mostly Super Smash Bros. by myself and lately Fortnite with some friends. Pokémon and Fire Emblem are also big ones for me.

I’m pretty terrible at drawing as well, but one of the best therapies I’ve ever gotten was art therapy. It was very nice to make stuff without worrying too bad about how it looks. My biggest hobby is writing music, and I do that just for myself lately without worrying about whether anyone else will like it.
