Hello all. I am 57, female, and was diagnosed autistic this July after four years, two re-referrals and two assessments. 

I look forward to being on this site. When I was a teenager and didn't know what was wrong, I thought, "There must be more like me scattered around the world. One on each continent maybe." Ha...

  • Hi and welcome, I like your thinking/feeling that there must be one person like you on each continent, I used to feel the same way about the notion of soul mates, if I have one, then they're probably somewhere in the Amazon jungles or somewhere else equally inaccessable.

    I replied to one of you replies on another thread, I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know you more.
