Hi

Hi I'm Flora. I was recently diagnosed with Autism and I'm still trying to make sense of all that. I love Pokémon and doing creative writing. I'm not currently working because I'm so stressed all the time, my mum is terminally ill and that along with my autism is a lot to deal with.

Hoping it will be positive to be here. Blush

  • Valhalla is a great game. I enjoyed the river raids, where you take some warriors with you in a longship and raid locations along the riverside. You can get the crew to sing Viking songs as they travel, which I liked too. And the ending is poignant and uplifting.

My favourite assassins creed games in order are:

    1. Odyssey (Alexios is my favourite character of all AC games)

    2. Valhalla

    3. Origins

I haven't been able to get into any others so far.

  • Omg I also love to collect plushies and collectibles! Glad to hear I’m not the only SpongeBob fan here, think I’m also obsessed lol! I love super Mario wonder and party jamboree too, I’ve also been enjoying the add on for the switch 2 though I can’t use the camera mode lol. I’m camera shy Relaxed️

  • Oh yeah this one is definitely better, perhaps the idea of it being a site for neurodivergent people breaks the ice a little so there’s no judgement or expectations. From what I’ve witnessed so far is that people are free to be themselves here and that’s never a bad thing.

  • Is Valhalla a good one? Have yet to play it, have played most of them including the originals on Xbox 360

  • Nice to meet a fellow simmer!

I started a thread a while back about Sims 4, which goes on about it far more than you have!

Here it is if you would like to read it and maybe add a comment:

     RE: Sims 4 discussion thread

  • Hi and thank you  Slight smile

And thanks for the thread! I'm also happy to find a positive place to relax and unwind a little.

  • I haven't played Assassin's creed yet but it's a game I keep meaning to try. OMG I love the Sims 4!!! I started playing it when I saw it was free because up until then I wasn't sure if it was actually any good and omg it's amazing! I now have nearly every single expansion pack and have been getting the game packs slowly over time..

I love creating Sims and then my own stories with them. Sort of like acting them out like it's a play or film or something like that.

A lot of players do legacies and I do have a save for that but lately I enjoy doing my stories more.

Sorry for going on so much here about Sims lol. What's your favourite play style?

Have you read The Book of Doors? It's written by Gareth Brown and is an interesting take on time travel. This book allows you to revisit any memory and time in the past, simply by walking through a doorway.

It's now one of my favourite books and I recommend reading if you get the chance. I think you'd enjoy it.

  • My favourite games are assassins creed origins, odyssey & Valhalla, fallout 4, Sims 4, Hogwarts Legacy and BioShock 1 & 2. I also found Lego Star wars & Lego Harry potter to be fun, and I sometimes play pure chess.

I enjoy sci-fi, futuristic dystopian, time travel, thriller and historical novels.

  • Hi Flora and welcome.

Anytime you could do with reading a positive thread; the one called "3 Good Things (again)" is a popular suggestion:

     3 Good Things (again)

    Look after yourself.

  • Hi Autismman. Thank you. Yeah there's a few different forums and online groups I found but this one looked like the best to me. I try to avoid big social sites I think they get a little too toxic.

  • Hi thank you. I love Pokémon, the series is nice to escape in to, I love collecting the plushies and some cards, and the video games are always fun to play on.
I love Mario too. I used to play the Mario Kart games with my brother's, and lost severely in the process Laughing. I also still play Super Mario Wonder and just recently bought Super Mario Bros Jamboree which I've really been loving so.
I love SpongeBob too! I think it might be a special interest for me. I'm kind of SpongeBob obsessed.
Don't worry about your age. Age is just a number Slight smile
  • Hello and thanks. What video games do you like? I like playing video games as well. I like to read too, mostly fiction adventure stories. I dabble in creative writing but I'm not great at that TBF.

  • Hello Flora! Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear of your mother, seems like you have a lot to juggle at the moment. It’s a very positive place not like some other forums that we won’t name but start with the colour red.

  • Hi there, welcome to the community! I am very sorry to hear about your mum, that must be such a horrible situation. I remember watching the Pokémon anime years ago and I’ve actually considered playing the games but I haven’t got round to it yet. I’m into yoshi, Kirby and Mario games too and I also enjoy the Simpsons and SpongeBob despite my age

  • Hi and welcome to the community. I enjoy reading and playing video games.

  • Aww thank you mrs.snooks. This was such a sweet message to come back and find, I really appreciate it. Thank you for your well wishes, this means so much to me, thank you.

What kind of music do you like?

Do you travel to lots of different places? I'd like to travel one day. I get anxious about the idea of new places, especially if they're busy, but it's still something I want to do eventually. I'd like to go all over: Paris, Italy, Australia, Venice... I'm just starting to get in to photography too so it would be neat to take some pics as well.

Nice to meet you and thank you again your kindness. Xx.

  •  Hi. I am so sorry to hear about your mum. It's hard to know what to say as this is just my first welcome message. But I am thinking of you and your mum and family and friends.

I hope that you find a lot of positivity here.

Love that you love Pokemon and creative writing. I love music and travel. xx
