Hi

Hi,
I'm Jess.

I was diagnosed as autistic this February just gone. It wasn't really a surprise for me as I've felt different for as long as I can remember. I still feel a bit spaced out by everything though I am relieved to finally know who I am.

One thing I am struggling with is coping with the change and problems of life. I wish there was more support. It's like I have my diagnosis but no after support and that's made me feel a little more confused. I saw there's an ASD group local to me and I'm in two minds about joining it.

Sorry rambling now!

  • Hiya Jess, welcome to the forum! I joined this nearly two weeks ago so I’m still fairly new and I have also been recently diagnosed. I’m sorry you are feeling more confused at the moment, I understand that autism is not curable and no one seems to give regular check ups or that, despite asking. Hope you like it here.
