Hello.

Hello! I'm ErisBee and I'm autistic and obsessed by everything bee. I only recently found out I'm autistic, though looking back it's kind of obvious that it was always there. I recently turned 28 and have found in recent years my autism is affecting me more than it did say 10-15 years ago. I'm still processing this news but have found it helpful reading others' experiences online. Just being armed with the knowledge that I'm autistic has been a big help to me and settled a lot of the confusion I was experiencing.

Nice to meet you and see you around.

  • Hello and welcome.

Thought I'd relay a random bee story:

My mum had bumblebees nesting in her garage last year. She left them alone and they left her alone too. No problem, except she had to open the garage door each morning to let them out. If she closed it too early in the afternoon the bees would queue up outside the door until she opened again it to let them in. They were some sort of bumblebee with a red tail. She's hoping they don't nest there again as it was a nuisance having to leave the door open all day for the bees!
