Hello I'm new here. I was diagnosed as autistic when I was a child, I don't remember much of it tbh; but I do remember how at times growing up was challenging like especially during my teens. That was a crazy time! One I would never want to live through again...School was...forgettable lol...
Adulthood hasn't been without its problems but I'm nearly thirty now and in a good place in my life. I'm working as a personal assistant for a big firm; my boss knows I'm autistic and he doesn't mind that at all!
I'm single and have no friends, kind of isolated from the rest of the world; except when I go out to work and get shopping.
Hoping that being here will fill that isolated wound in my life.
I do have a pet cat though, Boris, and he is great company!
Hello and welcome. I hope yu find a home here .... and maybe a fried or two! :-)
Welcome
Thank you! :)
I love John Cooper Clarke.
Working isn't for everyone, be kind to yourself :)
Your social groups sound like fun. I used to do a book group, after school; I enjoyed it a lot at the time.
Sorry for not replying sooner, I can only reply if it's 8:00 or 8:30 8:35 8:40. It's a really weird OCD thing I've got in to which I am trying to break.
Welcome, Mate!
I tried poetry, on and off, for seventeen years now. My main inspiration is John Cooper Clarke.
Excellent that you got a good job. I never did, and I shall be 45 this June.

I attend a social group about twice a month where we do arts and crafts, play games, and listen to guest speakers. I was diagnosed when 20 years old and largely got ignored. Also got bullied and mistreated. Tried everything to give feedback and got ignored
