my grandson was diagnosed with autism today, although we knew my daughter was still upset. I would just like to gather lots of imformation as I want to help himmas much as possible. Thanks

  • It is a big shock, especially when some people haven't across autism before.  Autism can be portrayed as the be all end all by people who don't really understand it, so with the right support and advice it will become easier.  I've met some fantastic people on the Austism Spectrum, and other people 'society' show as unsociable, such as people with Down's Syndrome, but they are some of the most caring, honest, and exceptional people I've met.  So, you never know what the future holds.
