I am struggling to understand why autistic people should hide their faces on this site. To me this sounds like neurodivergent prejudice? And incredibly outdated!
Fully with you on those Robert, not sure when these rules were last evaluated for relevance to current needs?
Rules 1, 6 and 10 seem to be over the top.
Which are the rules you don’t understand Robert?
This is one of the rules I understand and accept.
It is a safeguarding issue. There are plenty of vultures out there who will seek to take advantage of someone who admits to being autistic.
There are plenty of other social websites where one can upload photos of themselves.
Let us keep our identities secret.
Asked and answered, thank you.
My preference is to stand up and be counted, although I do respect those who can’t
Not always good, but not always bad either.
Sorry, wrong of me to assume prior knowledge of how the best industries and Japanese style continuous improvement works. To be clear

So you've run a forum? (Your response wasn't clear on that issue).
Anything which provides an opportunity to comment in anonymity is not always good
I think there could be safeguarding issues as there are vulnerable adults on here as well as folk who are not vulnerable. I do not mind the idea of abiding by a rule which might help someone else. Also I do find the anonymity is beneficial if one wants to discuss some topic which is potentially embarrassing! Like periods of problems with personal hygiene which i would certainly not want to admit to in public!
Indeed, my photo is slightly tweaked and somewhat complimentary from a few years ago, although in reality, I haven’t changed that much.
Unfortunately people steal photos. Also I use a pro editor on my phone to tweak photos (before upload them);
Have a photo what your interested in.
Loads I Sperg , including multi site industry leadership with over 60,000 employees, UK and international awards for excellence. Policy responsibility for HS&E, employee engagement etc my autism has been a real asset.
That's good of you to critique how they run this site.
Do you have much prior experience running a forum?
About time these rules were updated Anna, they are as out of date as the Kremlin! Freedom of speech and glasnost rule.
Thank you Glitter
You get the prize for the best autistic response ever. I love it.
Grasshoppers can spit. Actually, when they are threatened, grasshoppers release a “defensive regurgitation,” which is sometimes known as grasshopper spit. This is a fluid that grasshoppers will release from their mouths.
The spit contains digestives enzymes along with partially digested plants, but it’s not dangerous, just unpleasant.
