a little bit of help needed

hi everybody, im robbie, i have an 18 year old daughter with autism, she is a good kid but i think she has reached  the age when she dont want to be hanging around with her dad anymore. she attends college two and a half days a week, but its not enough to occupy her mind, like alot of autistic young adults she does not have many friends she is not capable of going out much on her own and definatly not after dark.   i would like to find social clubs in the cannock area for autistic people, and also supervised days out, activity weekends and supervised holidays. her mom does not have a lot to do with her, i am her full time carer, so any suggestions would be great,, also anyone in the cannock area get in touch, give me some ideas,, im a bit lost to be honest..   thanks robbie.

  • thanks for the reply crystal, were in staffordshire 10 miles south of stafford its self,, the nock bit of cannock does make a lot of people thik were in scotland lol. anyway, she has never had a social worker on her side all he way through her schooling thats something i can get on to monday, she lives with me all the time, never stays at her moms not even overnight, i think were getting all the right benifits as now i am unable to work since she moved in with me. she is doing well at college and is following the path towards social care maybe teaching in years to come, the main things i would like to get is her social life organised as she does nothing apart from college and tv. a befriending service sounds great,, just for her to spend time up the local town with another person would be great and a big confidence builder,  once again thanks for reply and i will speak to you again.
