Hello,I am the parent of and adult child with high functioning autism. I'm married and our son has an older brother.. He is a graduate with a good degree and currently working very part time in an area related to his degree. He is living with us and showing little sign of wanting to be independent which us fine as we are happy for him to find his own way. It can be a challenge as he doesn't want to talk much, tends to want to do his own thing and unfortunately suffers from anxiety. I've joined this group so I can share experiences and hopefully find a way to support my son in a positive way.
Hi, I'm a young man who has aspergers. I had psychosis and that made me really isolated for a while but I've improved my life in several areas including anxiety (and setbacks). I'm not independent yet and won't be for a while because I'll be doing an access course soon but if you have questions I could try and answer?
