NHS is free. I went NHS route, got referral from doctors, filled out forms and was put on the waiting list (was a year long at time but due to covid it's probably grown longer now)

I’m pretty sure nhs is free you have to get referral from your gp.

I think you should do it it’s been great for me I went private for my autism diagnosis it cost £1200 so very expensive I hear the it usually costs between £1000-2000 so it’s a lot but it’s 2 years waiting list on NHS luckily I just about could afford it.
