hi there my daughter was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago and any help info and someone to vent to would be a great help ive been struggling for a long long time to find out why my daughter is the was she is she is now 12 years old and i struggle on a daily basis i now have the answer i was looking for and although now relived i feel like ive been left driffting with no info or help so any info would be great many thanks Frown

  • hi - posters on here will always help with any questions etc you may have, so you've found a good place.  Feel free to vent!   Has the support worker mentioned getting a statement of educational needs so that she can get the support she needs in school?   I think it's very important to have that in place.  How's she doing at school?  Also, you can apply for DLA to cover extra financial expenses you may have.  bw
