Hello from a newbie

Hi, I am new to this forum. My 13 yr old son has just been diagnosed with autism and a degree of aspergers. I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of this forum. I have lots of questions but wanted to introduce myself before I ask anything. Thanks for reading. xx

  • Hey good to meet you, I so agree about hitting secondery school my 13yr old just exploded and went into melt down. When he was 18 months old  I asked my health visitor if he was autistic, and at 7 they diagnosed pragmatic communications dissorder. I knew there was more to it than that though and when he hit secondery school I asked for him to be re-assesed and low and behold they have now doagnosed autism.  Looking forward to sharing our experiences together. xx
