Aspergers

Hello all, I have a 14 yr old son who has Aspergers. We've gone through the lot, diagnosis, CAMHS, medication, statements, exclusions and special schools. I still feel no closer to coping. Are there other parents like me struggling to cope, when even GP's turn their backs on you and his xbox is his only way in life!xx

If you think your GP is turning their back on you, get in touch with the practice manager of your surgery and make a complaint as that should not be happening.

The best thing to do is find your local mental health crisis intervention team, who will visit you to see how they can help and provide you with some counselling for yourself, contact your regional health authority.
