Hello everyone,

I thought I just like to say hi to everyone. I have a child who has been diagnosed with a number of ASD's. I am looking for advice and support and have decided that I am going to do my best to raise awareness of the autistic spectrum and the autistic spectrum disorders of which there are many.

Hopefully if we can raise awareness more people who do not have a family member or know someone with a family member who has an ASD we can be made aware and help us provide and get better support for those of us with a family member with an ASD.

    How does one have 'a number of ASDs'?

    As I understand it, there are basically 3 ASDs: Asperger's, (Classic, or Kanner) Autism (which may be High-Functioning and Low-Functioning), and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified.

    And one either has one or another.

    One can not have more than one.
