Late Diagnosis

Hi, I'm a new user of this forum. I was diagnosed with Aspergers two months ago at the age of 26. I have found it difficult to come to terms with and was hoping other people could maybe offer some advice based on their own experiences.

I'm happy to be here though; I didn't know there were communities like this.

Thank you.

  • i think i can explain the being bad at maths and visual-spatial reasoning, my daughter was diagnosed with dyspraxia at the age of nineteen she just couldn't grasp maths at all, and was always falling up the stairs. Even today she misjudged the counter top to put her elbow on when she was on the phone to me. She is at college doing a Foundation Degree in Sports for special needs people. So maybe you have part dyspraxia.
