Hi everyone.

We have just had our son(4 next week) diagnosed with autism this afternoon. A little shell shocked to say the least! no doubt there are many people who have been through this same scenario. Our view is that our son gets whatever he needs to help him through this!

    This may more be one of those meaning otherwise state of affairs, but is it not more the case that you are going to make sure that your son gets whatever he needs to help him 'get-along-with' being autistic - rather than as such getting 'through' it; possibly?
