3Di

Hi,

I have a 3Di assessment next week, which I know is a computer based developmental, dimensional & diagnostic interview. I am feeling quite apprehensive about it & would appreciate some information on what to expect. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My son is 6 yrs old now but I 'knew' from just a few months old that he was 'different'. I expressed my concerns to the medical professions for 5 years...but was only when he started school that those concerns were recognised. So, at this stage I feel a real mixture of emotions-I am relieved that he may finally get the support he needs, I AM actually being listened to, but am also in the 'it's just hit me & become real' kinda mode.

Parents
  • Thank you Sam. I do agre that there ia a lack of support for parents. I struggle with the fact that I don't understand my son's behaviour, why he does the things he does. He only has one parent so I don't have anyone to offload on or share support. But in a way I am grateful as I know his homelife is consistant.

Well, 3Di  tomorrow....I can answer the same questions with my eyes closed ;=)
