Hi, I have be told by the pre school that they have concerns about my son who is 3. It came as a real shock as I didnt see any of the signs. What signs should I be looking for. I am waiting for a review by the waiting time is 3 months.

    It isn't at all clear or obvioius, from your description, that your son is affected. Equally, it isn't possible to say that he isn't affected. Diagnosis through a discussion forum is not actually possible although some people post very clear and comprehensive pictures of people with autism but you haven't really done that. I think that you should have a proper conversation with your mother about what she thinks might be an issue.

    @em5 Autism varies massively between individuals. Some people are severely affected but they are often affected by other issues. Some people find the autism itself causes big problems but others have quite normal independent lives and you are likely to have come across some who you may just have thought of as a bit eccentric.
