where to reach out too?

Ok i think most of you know my story so im  not going to go through it again, lastnight my son had another meltdown and tried getting to the knives so he could harm himself, i took him to a&e in the hope someone would listen, perhaps medicate or get a pychologist, but no it diddnt happen, we took him home and have been told to phone the gp on monday and get an emergency peadiatic appointmen and that he would speak to the peadatricians at his side.

Weve already saw Cahms they have said its not a mental health issue, what do i do? oh they have said that they will contact socail services and se if we can get respite.

Aspergers itself may not be a mental health issue but someone who is intent on self-harm very definitely does have mental health issues. He has mental health issues because of the isolation that the ASD has caused. Have CAMHS put it in writing that they are unable to help him?

MO4B - have you looked at the support that NAS provides? It seems to me that he has problems because he doesn't have anyone who can communicate with him in a language that he understands or that can say the things that he can't say.
