I have been through an ASC assessment and am due to get my results next week. I am, needless to say, very anxious about this. Does anyone have any advice on what to expect? I have read about people receiving reports discussing the result. As I will meet with the assessors what sort of discussion will I have should I not be diagnosed? Do they normally spend time discussing the outcome in detail either way?
I have found the assessment process a bit stressful and would like to find out the result indepth, but don't want to prepare lots of questions if this won't be permitted on the day. I have a fear that I may not be given the diagnosis due to previous comments made by the assessors, and this worries me as I have many daily struggles that I am convinced are due to being 'on the spectrum' and I want to have an official diagnosis to validate it for personal reasons that I don't want to divulge on this thread.
Thank you
