Sooooooo I am getting my head round this diagnoses of autistic traits and sensory issues,as ive always belive it was more,anyway ive been working in a school for children with mild disabilities and ive been looking at the children and im thinking my son is not that bad educationally,his behaviour at home is shocking,anyway i started thinking ok maybe it is just autistic traits and sensory issues and hypercussis.

Then i went to parents evening,i had a lot more time with the teacher because i had to cancel due to hubbys heart attack and make another on a different week which meant i got a lot longer than 5 mins that was rushed.

The teacher said to me she suspects hes on the spectrum and shes going to try and best to help us as much as she can and whilst this is utterly brilliant!!!!!! its like arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sorry i just feel like a yoyo and needed to get it out.

  • Your child sounds the same as mine ,he done his best to hide away at school and avoided everything so he didn't av to speak,but at home he was attacking everyone and hitting me that much so I wouldn't take him to school,he's only six and now hasn't attended schl since October I allowed camps to come in my home every morn and there seen what the problem was and started a autism asses next week I get the discussion ,what I tryin to say school couldn't see a problem ,and made me feel like a was a useless mother when I got intouch with amps there told me this is common kids can't cope with school sometimes and just shut down. And become that quiet ,tht I believe teachers over look,,but the minute he came out school he would kick off wrap his self around lampposts etc run across roads scratch bite when I would try hold hand,i have 5kids and  and I new i couldn't parent this child the way I did the others,I was right
