autism diagnosis

hi all my name is jade, and my son who is now 3 has been diagnosed with an asd but no-one will tell me where on the spectrum he falls, i know its like an umbrella system or so its been explained to me but the school i want him to go to will only accept moderate or severe cases of asd children so how do i find this out? i have his scores from his ados assessment can i find out the severity of his case from this? any help would be greatly appreciated xx

    hi there just reading your comment and i no how you feel our twelve year old son who was diognosed in jan this year has not been told where on the scale he is.we get a lot of comments about this with friends and family they need to live in our house for a couple of hours to noticed anythink diffrent about him but when visitors come he runs and hides in his bedroom until they have gone this could be for hours i would love to know where on the spectrum he falls too.
