I've never found a solution that works all the time. What can help is a new diversion or something I feel strongly enough to campaign/ write an email about. It's the strength of the replacement interest that helps, not particularly what it is. After I've sent the email. for example, it often loses its power over me - like ticking an item off a, 'to do' list.
