autism and showering

hi  im becky im 48 i have autism and  adhd  i also have very dry  skin

and i find with this and autism i have to use kids shampoo,kids body wash and toothpaste

is this wrong as i feel so embrassed about have to use and buy these

is  there others that have to do this and  can put my mind at ease please

    No it’s not wrong! In fact, I’ve seen articles on beauty in women’s magazines recommending “a mild shampoo such as baby shampoo” when washing hair frequently or to avoid “over stripping natural oils” from the hair.

    I use Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash in the shower because I have eczema. Although my GP prescribes ointments and creams, they don’t stretch to body wash on prescription. They say I can use the cream or ointment as a wash, but they both leave the shower very slippy so I just buy the Aveeno.
