What happens after a diagnosis?

Good evening all, I do hope I have posted this in the correct area, I apologise if I haven't...

My name is Helen and I joined the forum today to get help and advice for myself and my son Ollie.

Ollie is 2 and a half years old and hasn't been formally diagnosed with Autism yet but his doctor says from the list I wrote and gave her of all the things Ollie does that it is highly likely that he is Autistic.

We are currently (still) waiting for the referral to come through.

Ollie has a hearing test next week, NOT looking forward to that! And he starts speech therapy 2 days after his hearing test...

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what happens after a diagnosis is made as this I am at a blank about.. I haven't a clue what will happen next for my boy (or even myself)

Thank you all for listening to me rant on, any advice grately received.
