THIS TREAD IS ABOUT THE ASSISTED DYING BILL.

I'm glad it's passed, I know any people will disagree, and I respect thier choice, as I can't take any pain killers except paracetamol, this bill gives me some comfort that when the end is in sight, I have some choices and hopefully won't have to depart before I'm ready.

    So? We're talking about what happens to the final 6 months of their life not what the previous bit was like? And tbh with palliative care the way it is now there is no reason for people to spend their lives in agony. That's just medical laziness. I've no issue with people being issued with hazardous levels of pain relief for actual pain. Just so long as the purpose is pain control not euthanasia.
