Ibs symptoms, low blood pressure, aches linked to autism?

Hi,

Does anyone have any successful experience coping with IBS symptoms please? It's kind of ruining my plans a lot and I'm struggling to manage it.

Also can things such as low blood pressure and regular back ache be linked to autism? Because these just won't go away.

I've not been given any advice by anyone since getting my diagnosis about eight years ago. Really worried I'm stuck like this because it's making life less than worthwhile.

  • Autism can cause you to forget to drink. Being dehydrated can have a number of effects.

Sitting for long periods can lead to poor posture, pelvis titled back, which can cause lower back pain.

Autism makes a lot of things stressful. Chronic stress has a number of effects, including hormone imbalance and lack of sleep. And lack of sleep also causes hormone problems.

Chronic stress also causes digestive issues and can contribute to autoimmune issues.

I don't think specific health advice can be given here, but general points like keeping hydrated, resting well, managing stress and eating a healthy diet should not be too controversial.
