New Packaging on foods

Yes, it is irritating. Also why stores and libraries are always moving things around for no apparent reason. I can rarely find anything I want in a Boots pharmacy. I try, then always have to ask.

I worked for a supermarket for a few years and my partner was a manager there so I asked her why this happened.

It is to make people have to look around for the stuff they always buy and in the process come across other things they probably ignore, leading to (supposedly) more impulse buys

Rearranging the store annoys me, but changes in packaging don't, unless it means an increase in waste, but nowadays a lot of new packaging is to make it easier to recycle, use less packaging whilst still keeping the food fresh.

Omg yeah! That is true. Sometimes it isn't even logical. Like food could be next to medicine for example so it doesn't even make sense. ASDA took me ages to get used to. They moved their entire fridge section around and I was like 'where is everything?'
