Does anyone else hate it when packaging on food or drink suddenly changes? When I go to Tesco, I used to look out for a blue packet of level 2 mature cheese and now it has changed to green and completely thrown me off.

I hated it when tesco decided to put all thier gluten free and veggie foods in with the normal stuff, thankfully the experiement didn't last long, probably because of people like me complaining that I couldn't find anything. I think it was an effort to normalise alternatives, but it just led to confusion and the alternatives seemed to get lost in the meaty and full gluten options.
I can't get my head around some of the seasonal options, well the extra things I can, but not the removal of others, I was told that vegetarians dont' need veggie mince in summer?
Agreed. I thought this about Pepsi. I used to enjoy it then they suddenly changed the recipe for no reason and now it tastes like Pepsi Max and I hate it.
Oh yeah. That doesn't really make sense does it.
One things I can't get my head round is why toothpaste is in pharmacy section along with cough linctus and indigestion remedies, but shampoo, soap, shower gel and sanitary products are in a differrent one?
Yeah. If only they could do that. We should get a petition started
Completely agree as soon as you see the new and improved recipe you know it’s over…..
For me it’s when they change the recipe, I used to love aldis tuna pasta bake and then they changed the recipe. No need whatsoever it was my safe food and I had one bite and knew instantly it wasn't the same. And it’s even worse when they don’t put it on the packaging to even let me know it’s changed. I was so upset because I had a really stressful day and just wanted my tuna pasta bake
Haha well worth complaining then. Can't believe they'd not update their little menu they'd give out.
Absolutely. Once I wrote complaining to Cadbury because a big tin (probably plastic tub, but you know what I mean) of roses didn't seem to have any of my favourites (Brazilian Darkness) ... It turns out they'd changed the shape AND wrapper on that sweet, but had included the 'old' selection menu, hence my complaint!! They gave me a £3.50 voucher though
In my case, I just get frustrated, until I eventually ask a staff member in the politest way I can manage. I then pay and exist as fast as I can. Not a snowball's chance in Hell that I'd make an impulse buy in a state of advanced pissed-offedness.
why stores and libraries are always moving things around for no apparent reason.
I worked for a supermarket for a few years and my partner was a manager there so I asked her why this happened.
It is to make people have to look around for the stuff they always buy and in the process come across other things they probably ignore, leading to (supposedly) more impulse buys
I have issues all the time. Being dyslexic does not help either as I have picked up what I thought was the jar I wanted only to find at home, it was a different one but the same color label.
Rearranging the store annoys me, but changes in packaging don't, unless it means an increase in waste, but nowadays a lot of new packaging is to make it easier to recycle, use less packaging whilst still keeping the food fresh.
Omg yeah! That is true. Sometimes it isn't even logical. Like food could be next to medicine for example so it doesn't even make sense. ASDA took me ages to get used to. They moved their entire fridge section around and I was like 'where is everything?'
