Hello i would like some advice about aspergers. i am going to see my doctor this week to ask him about it, but before i do i would like to know if you can have aspergers without displaying all of the triad of impairments. i would be very grateful if someone could give me a breakdown of what definately shows signs of aspergers and what doesn't.

  • People with Asperger's have their own individual mix and strength of the traits, they do have requirements that you have to have a certain amount of the traits from each category.  But don't forget that adults learn over the years to hide a lot and they should take this into consideration too.  Also, alexithymia is common on the spectrum so it can be difficult to actually identify your own difficulties.
