No help

Hi all

i imagined having asd I would get more help, but it seems I am getting less than when I had anxiety depression

for over 3 years I’ve lived in my current accommodation which is a room in a house, I feel like a prisoner as I don’t leave my room as I don’t want to see any other tenants, the noise makes me self harm and smash things, there have been other tenants doors kicked in as people are in and out letting anybody in, I don’t get much sleep nor am I eating properly just crisps and biscuits, but yet I keep getting told I’m not homeless I have a roof over my head so I don’t get anyhelp

this is not living this is existing

  • Thanks for the reply, my GP is of no help, I was speaking to Safe Space who sent an email to my GP requesting they support me, and there was no reply to the email, I have told my GP the issues I have and he says around housing there is nothing he can do

i have called 111 a few times who chase up a cmht that I keep getting referred to, but they made my mh worse (before my asd diagnosis) so put in a complaint and asked to be transferred to another cmht, they now decline the referrals and won’t transfer me, they say the same as GP they can’t help with housing

i have called Samaritans a long time ago but I’m not one for talking so felt uncomfortable with that call

i have also spoke to MIND but they kept repeating that if I need to can I cal 999, I explained I couldn’t as it means walking past other tenants doors to open the front door, and they made me angry kept telling me to ring 999 even though I cant

i have also attended A&E again before my asd diagnosis, and they discharge me back to my GP after speaking to me for 10 minutes

i was referred to adult social services, he asked me what I needed help with, I replied housing, form filling and understanding my mail, his reply was CAB can help with form filling and mail, and because I have a roof over my head I’m not homeless so they won’t help, he then sent me a text message saying, you do not meet the eligibility criteria under the care act 2014
