Does anyone else have trouble with finances or money management? I feel like so many people understand how money works and how to make it work for them, however, it feels like such a foreign concept to me. Also, curious to know what kind of support or resources tools that are available because this is an area, I feel like I am drowning or not doing very well. I am highly creative person and have plenty of "ideas", however, the business management or creating a source of income or business with these ideas feel like such a foreign language.

  • I can’t really comment on support resources, but this is one area where autism has actually helped me, in two ways.

    Firstly, my parents instilled a saving habit in me and as a result I get quite anxious about money and saving and budgeting - so I have to do it!

    Secondly, after the financial crisis back in 2008, finance became a special interest of mine. So I now invest frequently, learned everything about pensions, frequently change savings accounts and have lots of spreadsheets tracking and planning my finances.

    I learned all this by reading a lot of books and now via financial websites and even some YouTube channels.
