Autism and dizzy balance problems

Why do I and others with autism suffer with dizzy and balance? Is it linked with the autism or is it anxiety involved as well? I have both. I get it most of the time and it disrupts my sleep and daily life

  • I feel for you I really do. I have generalized anxiety disorder and I was surprised with how many symptoms anxiety can actually cause, and yeah dizziness is amongst them. I'm dizzy a lot, it comes and goes but it can also cause headaches and nausea for me.

    Try to relax, take deep breaths and let the anxiety settle. When I'm calmer the symptoms are less noticable.
