Crohn's Disease

Has anyone else got this or heard of it? I have it apparently and I've got an infection going the same time. *rolls eyes*

So except for a bit of pain, nausea and stomach troubles I'm not finding it too bad really. Just a bit annoying.

  • It seems that there is a relatively strong connection between autism and digestive problems. I have diverticular disease - pouches develop in the colon - which, in me, appears to be triggered into diverticulitis - inflammation of pouches - by certain foods, eating too much or stress. Unfortunately, the food intolerances change over time, so I'm never sure what might be causing a flare up. At the moment potatoes and dairy are the main culprits. I believe that Crohn's disease can be eased by changes in diet and anti-inflammatories. I have a friend with Crohn's and he had his condition greatly improved once his ideal diet was discovered.
