Has anyone else got this or heard of it? I have it apparently and I've got an infection going the same time. *rolls eyes*
So except for a bit of pain, nausea and stomach troubles I'm not finding it too bad really. Just a bit annoying.

Ooo I think I'm like this as well with not feeling hunger that much. I'm glad you found cutting out certain things helped you - I think I might cut out maybe milk always seem to feel unwell after milk. I guess a lot of it will be testing to see what helps and what doesn't.
Thanks :)
Since cutting out potatoes and dairy, about 4 months ago, everything has been fine. If I do get a flare up I stop eating solids, for up to 6 days. I just have glucose drinks and clear soup. Luckily, my autism and lack of enteroception means I do not really feel hunger much, if I keep my mind occupied. I do tend to lose weight, which is a bonus, as I am typically a bit overweight.
Good luck with sorting out a diet that helps.
Oh poor you that sounds like an awful thing to have to deal with. I hope you're ok.
When I'm back home I'm going to try and stick to a good diet that will help my stomach cope with things better. Some foods are a massive trigger for me.
It seems that there is a relatively strong connection between autism and digestive problems. I have diverticular disease - pouches develop in the colon - which, in me, appears to be triggered into diverticulitis - inflammation of pouches - by certain foods, eating too much or stress. Unfortunately, the food intolerances change over time, so I'm never sure what might be causing a flare up. At the moment potatoes and dairy are the main culprits. I believe that Crohn's disease can be eased by changes in diet and anti-inflammatories. I have a friend with Crohn's and he had his condition greatly improved once his ideal diet was discovered.
