Joint issues??

Curious to know if other autistics, especially mature ones, do you problems with connective tissues of joints? I have fibromyalgia but keep getting tendinitis, rotator cuff issues, tennis elbow…is just age or do others have problems as well. I don’t have EDS, but two knee replacements and 2 failed rotator cuff surgeries waiting for 3rd just to tidy it up on right, surgery on left shoulder as well. Oh and just had steroid injection in left hip due to fascia problem…it just seems it could be connected to me but would like to know…..anyone else?

  • Hypermobile in knees and elbows. Im a keen weight lifter so I have to be extra careful (had a shoulder tendon injury that stopped me training for months! Hated it. (gym is basically my special interest).

    Elbows are really Hypermobile tho and ai can do the Charlie Chaplin knee walk thing. Interesting it's so common here!
