Joint issues??

Curious to know if other autistics, especially mature ones, do you problems with connective tissues of joints? I have fibromyalgia but keep getting tendinitis, rotator cuff issues, tennis elbow…is just age or do others have problems as well. I don’t have EDS, but two knee replacements and 2 failed rotator cuff surgeries waiting for 3rd just to tidy it up on right, surgery on left shoulder as well. Oh and just had steroid injection in left hip due to fascia problem…it just seems it could be connected to me but would like to know…..anyone else?

  • I have always been in pain, but also suffer with several autoimmune conditions, including a spinal specific type. I haven’t been diagnosed with Fibro but I’m pretty sure I have that too. As for hyper mobility, I don’t think so. However, I do wonder about my Sacroiliac joints which seem to have a mind of there own.
