Motivation to lose weight

I need to, as a bottom line, get below 21 Stone - I'm currently 23 Stone 2 1/2 Pounds - in order to receive Life Cover from the Law Society's Financial Advisor. It is the only bone of contention for him.

I know what I need to do; it's just developing a plan to occupy myself better, to avoid eating out and grazing.

  • Walking is great because you don’t have to fit at all to start with brisk walking. Whereas jogging is a bit of a nightmare if you’re currently not very fit.

    I think the best thing to stop snacking is being busy and doing things that you’re interested in - it stops you thinking about food so much. And there are lots of healthy things you can snack on too - like dried apricots, nuts, berries. Healthy foods can be so expensive though. They should be subsidised in my opinion.
