Hi I’m new to relationships and I currently have a girlfriend. 

I was wanting to know other peoples views to the following questions.

  1. Is it ok to hug a female friend and work colleague?
  2. is it ok to have dinner at their house?
  3. Is it ok to bring a small gift to the dinner?

  • If someone invites you to their house for a meal, it’s customary to bring a bottle of wine or something. No one would be mad if you forgot. And you can always return the favour sometime, which I’m sure they would enjoy.

    As for hugging friends, I would ask first. 
    I would not hug a colleague unless they were also a friend.
