Hi I’m new to relationships and I currently have a girlfriend. 

I was wanting to know other peoples views to the following questions.

  1. Is it ok to hug a female friend and work colleague?
  2. is it ok to have dinner at their house?
  3. Is it ok to bring a small gift to the dinner?

  • Just live your life.  You are overthinking things.

    If you are a person that hugs people, then continue hugging people, whether its female friend or collegaue is irrelevant.  Same with going to peoples houses for dinner.  As for bringing a gift to a dinner, ie, a bottle of wine, then yes, that would be normal behaviour.

    If your girlfriend has issue with you doing any of that, she probably isn't the right one for you.
