Julian Assange

I am a supporter of Wikileaks; I know not everyone is. I feel deeply sympathetic to Julian Assange and believe that what he is being prosecuted for is based on his politics. However, he’s suicidal and would end his life under US prison conditions.

I'm not sure the USA really know what it's doing. They're going to make him a martyr and damage their reputation.

It knows exactly what it is doing. By indicting the first ever publisher it intends to trump the protections afforded to journalists and send a chilling message, 'Expose our dirty secrets and we'll pounce on you like a ton of bricks.' I just wish the White House would revert to the policy of Obama where he decided that he couldn't prosecute Assange without implicating every single journalist and media organization.
