Julian Assange

It knows exactly what it is doing. By indicting the first ever publisher it intends to trump the protections afforded to journalists and send a chilling message, 'Expose our dirty secrets and we'll pounce on you like a ton of bricks.' I just wish the White House would revert to the policy of Obama where he decided that he couldn't prosecute Assange without implicating every single journalist and media organization.

Sorry, that was a bit snarky, but I'm sick of seeing what has been done to Julian Assange. He's effectively done years of solitary confinement style jail already. I bet they didn't let him keep his cat either. Our rulers are clearly sadists.

I'm not sure the USA really know what it's doing. They're going to make him a martyr and damage their reputation.

Julian’s case mirrors so similarly that of Gary Mckinnon.

He's suffering, for trying to expose War Crimes, while the Numpties focus on a Cabinet Drinks Party.

As far as I'm concerned, they're trying to Shaft the Prime Minister; simply because he got Brexit done.
