Lost my mum

My mum died when I was 16. She didn’t understand me but I still feel loss. 

I'm sorry for your loss. I think that your family will need to support each other now more then ever, because if everyone just pulls away, then everyone will feel lonely, which won't be good for anyone's mental health.

So sorry for your loss, Rachel. I also lost my dad when I felt both he and I were too young. It seemed so soon, so sudden. It also took a long time for it to sink in and for me to work through what I was feeling.

Please reach out to your GP or another support service. There are specialist bereavement services, counselling and so on that I wished I used back then. At the time I didn't want to reach out because it would be like admitting my dad had gone, but I think it would have helped and he would have wanted that, too.

sorry for your loss Rach91.   I lost my dad recently and I still miss him.  There are no words that can express the loss of your mum.

Your mum means a lot to you. I never appreciated what my mum did for me until she could no longer do it.

How about CRUISE Counselling for bereavement?
