Audio Visual Meditation Videos - Help with Breathwork and Relaxation

Good morning,

I've been advised by Autism UK to post in this discussion to share something that could help stressed out parents AND their child(ren).

Hi, my name is Allie and I'm the creative director of Syntropy States, we create audio visual meditation videos. These videos are unique in that we use colour, shape and sound to guide the breath in a special way to relax the mind and balances the nervous system. We've found that these work effectively for those who find it hard relax enough to meditate, it creates a perfect bridge to calm the mind through art and music.

The whole series of Breath Pacers is available in three different breathing speeds and is available to buy for £12.00 (that's fourteen videos) and/or Relaxation Mandalas for £15.00 (that's sixteen videos). All videos come in a dark and light mode, making it ideal to watch in the evening to wind down for sleep or throughout the day as quick anxiety relief.

Here is a brief explanation of what is happening when our videos are being watched..

The geometric and mandala art bypasses the brain’s perceptual networks associated with stored “known” information. When you look at geometric and mandala art you don’t see familiar objects that the brain can make sense of; rather, you see beautifully abstract, complex and evolving shapes. In bypassing the known, you open yourself up to the unknown and unconscious. Mandalas and geometries can also lead the brain into Alpha brainwaves and promote open focus and feelings of calm and positivity. The breathing pacers help you to breathe slowly, deeply and in balance. This type of breathing creates a state called psychophysiological coherence which has benefits for both the body and brain and which also promotes Alpha brainwaves and feelings of calm alertness. In addition to the visuals, calming music can also induce psychophysiological changes which reduce stress and anxiety and improve relaxation and mood.

Here’s what some of our customers are saying:

I am definitely much more coherent and productive… it is a game changer in my journey with clinical depression and anxiety.

I just want to say that I love your Syntropy Breath Pacers! They have such a profound effect on inducing a state of calm, an incredible tool to have, especially in times like these! Thank you for creating such wonderful gifts; as the world desperately needs them.

I immediately felt that something was happening with my level of anxiety. It was like the information from the Syntropy visualisation/sound was going directly to my fear centre and saying “It’s OK. Look at me and you are safe.”

Like the sound of Syntropy? Well, here’s what to do next…
